Drink of the Week
Starbucks Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino
Ingredients
Dark Caramel Sauce
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup heavy cream substitute with coconut cream for a dairy free version
1/4 teaspoon salt
Caramel Crunch Topping
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tablespoon salt
Starbucks Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons Dark Caramel Sauce
2-3 teaspoons instant coffee powder
1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum powder
1 1/4 cups ice
Whipped cream
Caramel Crunch Topping

This Week’s Eats
Blueberry Parfait
Fresh blueberries, plain greek yogurt, protein granola (fromAldi)
Kimchi Jjigae + rice
Viet Shack - Shrimp & lean pork spring rolls, pork fried egg rolls, grilled pork vermicelli bowl
Burgers
Season burger patties with salt and pepper, and add to a pan with avocado oil spray over medium heat. Cook burger patties for about 3-5 minutes per side, or until your desired doneness. Once cooked, add a slice of cheese to the top of the patty, and place on a burger bun with your choice of condiments and toppings.
Steak + Caesar Salad
Preheat oven to 425. Season steak with salt and pepper, then add to a oven safe pan with avocado oil over medium heat. Sear on both sides, then place entire pan in oven to cook for about 5 minutes. Remove from oven and add butter and rosemary to the steak. Spoon the melted butter over the steak, then place steak on cutting board and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with A1 sauce, and a Caesar salad kit.
Kat’s Current Obsessions:
Nespresso VertuoPlus Machine- I’ve had this baby for well over two years, and this is the first month I’ve actually used it to make coffee! I have been on a brewed coffee kick so I’m running with it! I love brewing a Melozio pod or a decaf melozio pod in the evenings with my Homemade Brown Sugar Syrup, and some heavy cream!
Ember Mug- this mug keeps your coffee set to whatever temperature you want it at! If you’re constantly reheating your coffee, this mug will change your life!
Simple Modern 40 oz Tumbler- I loveeee this cup! It’s 40 ounces so it holds a ton of liquid, and it comes in all different colors. I use it daily for my dirty sodas and sparkling water concoctions!
Thank you SO SO MUCH for reading this week’s newsletter! This newsletter is simply a way for me to share my recipes, and my love for coffee and food! In the past, I struggled with an eating disorder, and I would “avoid” certain drinks and foods I loved, just to be thin. I now have a healthy relationship with food and my body, and I understand all foods fit into a healthy lifestyle! It’s okay to love food. It’s okay to enjoy sweet coffee! It’s okay if certain foods bring you more joy than others, and it’s okay if there’s more of you to love than when you were younger ;)
